Returns

We use only quality fabrics and threads and have quality control methods in place.

However if you are unsatisfied or there is an unexplained fault, we have a 14 day return policy. This means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please read the below exceptions prior to contacting us noted under “reasons for unacceptable returns” and “other exceptions / non returnable items”

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it including any tags, and in its original packaging.

To start a return, you can contact us at admin@chameleonrewraps.com.au. Title your email “Return” and include a picture of the fault and your proof of purchase for us to assess.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Reasons for unacceptable returns

All our wraps and ribbons are handmade and show normal acceptable signs that they are handmade. Sometimes our authentic vintage fabrics can have delightful small print flaws that is proof of the old printing methods. If you ever find one of these occasional print flaws, it is to be embraced as part of its vintage character and heritage.

On occasions we save fabric destined for Landfill which we call reclaimed fabric and products made from this fabric will be sold under our “Seconds” tab. These fabrics will not be second in quality but may have a slight mark or repetitive printing flaw that doesn’t detract from the appearance or use of the product. All Seconds will be clearly noted on the sales page for that particular product made from reclaimed fabric and it will also be noted with an “S” for seconds on the care label and a special price will reflect this. The “S” stands for not only seconds but “saved” from landfill for the benefit or our planet and we are proud of those that can see the true value in these products as we do. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards except where the wrong item has been delivered.

Other exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.


Damages and issues
When your order arrives please inspect your item/s and contact us immediately if the item/s is not what you expected, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exchanges
Because transporting goods is a cost to the planet, we do not accept products for exchange for “change of mind” reasons. Please contact us with any return questions at admin@chameleonrewraps.com.au

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
